The Freedom of Russia Legion, in Russian "Легион „Свобода России“", is a unit of Russian volunteers fighting on the Ukrainian side against Russia. The formation became known in connection with Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine and positions itself politically and militarily against the current Russian leadership.
