This modular utility pouch is part of the IdZ-ES equipment system ("Infantryman of the Future - Extended System") of the German Armed Forces. The system was developed to provide soldiers with flexible, modularly expandable combat equipment, where pouches can be attached to protective vests or carrying systems depending on the mission profile.

The Utility Pouch 5-FTD serves as a compact utility pouch for various equipment items in the field. Thanks to its robust construction and the integrated reinforcement plate in the back area, the pouch remains dimensionally stable and can be securely attached to MOLLE platforms.
